Role

  • Based in Boston. Will manage 3-4 accounts and is responsible for managing customer relationship and generating additional revenue from these accounts. These clients are distributed nation-wide.
  • Expected to manage and generate around 1.5Million dollars in annual revenue from these accounts. Most of these accounts are already generating significant revenues
  • Will have high-level project management responsibilities as well. But 90% of the PM for an account is done by the India-based PM teams
  • Travel is around 15-20%

Qualifications
  • Should have done 4-6 years of client or program management and assisted in sales cycles, even if he hasn't closed the deals all by himself
  • Should have worked in an IT services company or the Professional Services arm of a B2B software company
  • Should be used to a compensation structure based heavily on hitting account-revenue-goals
  • Has experience in managing/working-with offshore teams. This will help in setting the right expectations with clients as well as drive team performance effectively
  • Has a technology/engineering background. This is important because the sales cycles are unlike product sales cycles, and need technical sophistication to shape effectively and to close quickly
